3-Day Weekend Wrap-Up! 💦🏠

It’s been a busy three days! We were blessed to work with three new clients, Soft Washing two homes and a business, along with getting in a little concrete cleaning. And, of course, we made sure to set aside some time to hang out with the family! Truly blessed!

Yesterday, we had the blessing of Soft Washing a beautiful home for a new client, followed today by an annual Soft Wash for one of our VIP clients. We’re thankful for the trust our customers place in us year after year!

Blessed to be back at it this weekend and grateful for the work God continues to place in our hands. We completed two soft washes with a concrete cleaning at a beautiful home and a local medical center.

Today marks two years since I started Fiat Pressure & Soft Washing. But this date has always meant so much more to me...it is also, and more importantly, my mother’s birthday.
Mom has been in Heaven for over 18 years, and I still miss her every day.

She was a woman of incredible faith...the kind of faith that said YES to GOD no matter what he asked of her. Her answer was always, “God’s will be done!”
With the help of my daughter, Grace, this is why I named our business, "Fiat Pressure & Soft Washing."
In Latin, Fiat means “let it be done,” reflecting Mary’s yes to God: “May it be done to me according to your word.” My mother lived that kind of faith. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for God, no calling she would turn away from, and no moment when she stopped trusting his plan for her life, until the day she went to Heaven.

I started this business on her birthday for that reason. Every time I say the name Fiat, I’m reminded of her faith, her love, and the example she left behind.
I can picture her in Heaven today...dancing, singing loudly, hands wavy high, praising God like she did from the front row at church.

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Claudia Hebert Tierney! We miss you so much!

And happy 2-year anniversary to Fiat Pressure & Soft Washing. God’s will be done!

It feels absolutely amazing to finally be back full duty, and also, as much as I hate it at times, put that vest back on Monday morning...just in time for the start of school.

This weekend we were able to wash three houses, and I don’t take that lightly. After this long recovery, just being able to get up, work with my hands, and serve others again is a blessing I thank God for every day!

I’m taking it slow and listening to my body, but I can feel myself getting stronger every day. God’s timing is always right, even when the process feels long.

Grateful for every single person who continues to support me and my business, Fiat Pressure & Soft Washing.

Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Thomas More (June 22), husband, father, statesman, and martyr. St. Thomas More, pray for us.

Here is a portion of the prayer of St. Thomas More from his cell in the Tower of London shortly before he died a martyr’s death by beheading by order of King Henry VIII (1535):

“Good Lord, give me the grace to set my mind firmly on You. To be content to be solitary. Not to long for worldly pleasures. Little by little utterly to cast off the world and rid my mind of all its business. To lean into the comfort of God. To humble myself under His mighty hand. To bewail my sins and, for the purging of them, patiently to suffer adversity. Gladly to bear my purgatory here. To be joyful in tribulations. To walk the narrow way that leads to life. To have ever before my eyes my death that is ever at hand. To pray for pardon before the judge comes. To have continually in mind the passion that Christ suffered for me.
