It is with many emotions I inform all of you that I will be unable to accept orders the month of December and am unsure if or when I will be able to sew Teddys again after.

I am having Brain surgery December 5th to place a VP shunt. While in my recovery from spine surgery from April, I was referred to a neuro opthamologist who discovered I have early stages of papilledema( optic nerve swelling) caused by a rare neurological disease called pseudo tumor cerebri( IIH/false tumor). I have seen the opthamologist several times since and before my surgery and if I leave it untreated, I will eventually go blind. I have been having chronic migraines and eye pain for months, not realizing it was a serious condition. Always listen to your body! 

If you are of Faith, I ask that you pray for not only me, but my husband and my three sons who have been caring for me and helping me get better. We are tired, stressed and broken hearted.

Thank you to all of you who had me make teddy bears for you. I have sewn just a little bit this year, but it gave me something to look forward to and another reason to keep going❤️

Christmas is right around the corner and it is no secret that budgets are tight everywhere. I’ve been asked for the longest time if I was going to add other items to my menu and this year I will be offering Christmas ornaments for $8. These will make a great add-on or if you’d like to place an order this year just for ornaments, you can do that as well! These will include personalization on one side.

You are wanting to place an order, I would encourage you to do this as soon as possible. Last year, I was the busiest I had ever been around the holidays and I’m going to estimate that this year will be the same. I will likely be off sometime mid November early December, but could be sooner depending on workload.

I am so thankful that I am able to take more orders now! I am eager to have your business 😊 if you thought about getting a teddy bear made in the past, now is the perfect time! Currently, my turnaround time is 2 to 4 weeks and my cost is $45 per bear. My family is on one income right now and if there was ever a time I could use the business, it is now. Please like and share and help me spread the word ❤️

I have the utmost respect for Life. It’s precious, fragile, amazing, and at times full of sadness and unimaginable loss. I have had the honor to help memorialize the memories of so many passed loved ones and often I receive heartfelt messages and photos after the families receive their keepsakes. These photos say so much! We will all be touched by loss at some time in our life and there is no greater reward than being able to provide some comfort to a grieving heart. Thank you to both of the families for allowing me to share your photos and for entrusting me your loved ones special treasures.

Long post:

I haven’t posted in a few months because I had a second spinal fusion. I had my first in 2006 due to congenital deformities and scoliosis and kyphosis from T5-L2 and recently in April L3-S2. My right leg was affected prior to surgery but due to nerve damage my leg was numb from the knee down, I spent one week in the hospital and a second at an intensive rehabilitation facility. I am healing and walking better every day and have decided to continue to create memorial bears for customers.

My turn around time is 30 days estimation and my cost per bear is $45( increased due to supplies and inflation). Send me a message if you are interested❤️

Thankyou to all of my new and returning customers- i truly appreciate every single one of you and value your business and that you entrust me with your passed loved ones belongings. I work to help the living but I also work for those who have passed on❤️and there is no greater feeling than easing the pain of a loss for others

Back is September, I was asked if I could complete a very large order( my largest yet) and seeing some of them showcased fills my heart! Knowing that when people see their bears and it makes them feel better and knowing that I made them is just amazing❤️there is no better feeling and I truly enjoy making them❤️

Some of my work from over the holidays!

I started making Teddys back in 2020 using a hand me down kenmore sewing machine. Last month I was able to upgrade to a refurbished industrial machine! This means I can stitch on all fabrics including Jean and heavy weight fabrics. I’m so excited to see my business grow this year😊thanks for all the support and share/ tag❤️

I am so excited to have a page to share and connect with all of you! The last few months have been busy and it was time to create an official page for my customers. If we have not met before, my name is Jessica and I use my sewing skills to help others memorialize their loved ones who have passed on by recycling their clothing articles into huggable teddy bears. This is a great way to help with the grieving process and comfort ones who long for missed loved ones. Having experienced loss first hand, I understand the pain and truly do love being able to provide this unique service to comfort others during their time of loss.
