Thoughts and prayers needed for my family 🙏
I wanted to give an update and thank everyone for their patience this week. My family has been facing several unexpected emergencies all at once, and it has impacted my ability to respond as quickly as I normally do.
Earlier this week, our 10 month old puppy suddenly became very sick. After multiple vet visits, emergency care etc, we ran out of funds and surrendered her where the rescue performed surgery, she is now being treated for what appears to be sepsis. Her white blood cell count had dropped dangerously low but has begun to rise slightly since surgery… a small but hopeful sign. She is still not out of the woods, and we are waiting on further updates.
On top of that, my grandpa was involved in a head-on collision with a driver going 75 mph while fleeing from police. He suffered multiple injuries; broken ribs, leg, arm, hip, and several fractures. He’s heading into surgery any minute, with another scheduled for tomorrow. He will be hospitalized for several days before being transferred to rehab.
And tomorrow, my dad, who is fully wheelchair-bound, is flying in and will be staying with us until January 3rd. I’m preparing for his arrival and praying for safe travel.
Because of everything happening at once, I have not been able to respond to messages from new and current clients as quickly as usual. I truly appreciate your patience, kindness, and understanding during such an overwhelming week. 🤎
