This song isn’t really about carpets, cemeteries, or even baby deer.
It’s about realizing how fast life goes by.
One minute you’re a young mom trying to survive, and the next you’re standing beside your daughters watching them grow into the people God created them to be.
I’ve cleaned thousands of carpets.
I’ve driven thousands of miles.
I’ve worried about bills, machines, and tomorrow.
But God reminded me that what matters most isn’t what I cleaned, what I owned, or what I earned.
It’s the children I raised.
The people I loved.
The prayers I prayed.
And the Jesus I followed.
“We have to be grateful for the way we live, because we don’t know when our last day is.”
