Severe Winter Storm Reminders:

-Make sure all hoses are disconnected from outside faucets.
-Keep all indoor faucets dripping and sink cabinet doors open
-If your house is on a hill it wouldn't hurt to have a space heater blowing on each plumbing area.
-Keep your heat up a little higher than normal 75°

These little tips will help prevent the water lines from freezing. When lines freeze there's not a lot you can do until everything warms up and thaws, then damage can be evaluated. Pipes can burst when they freeze and it can be a real hassle dealing w finding where they burst and cleaning up the mess. So anything you can do to prevent it can be helpful. Sometimes the lines freeze in the ground and there's not a lot we can do but make due until repairs can be made.

Life, for real….

I think I'm gonna sleep in my refrigerator tonight…

Why you might ask?!?

I came home w groceries and realized my fridge was too gross to put food in.... the bottom of both veggie and fruit drawers were filled w slime from decaying organic matter while my meat and cheese drawer were speckled w spotted items ... mold that is....

So I spent the last hour and a half cleaning it…

Now it's the only clean place in my home so I'm going to crawl in there to live 😆

Not sure why your sink smells so bad? Try bleaching the underside of your disposer flaps where food gets flung and bacteria grows.
