⚠️ Warning to Fellow Professional Cleaners & Small Business Owners ⚠️

I wanted to put this out there in case anyone else is experiencing the same thing. Over the last several weeks, and last year I’ve received multiple text messages asking for quotes to clean properties. And they want it that day . ⚠️ After doing some research, I discovered that some of these people do not actually own or rent the properties they’re asking about.

This is extremely concerning and honestly scary. I don’t know if this is an attempted scam, a setup to steal money, or something even more dangerous, but I feel it’s important to warn others to be cautious.

Some of these calls and texts are even coming from California numbers while asking about local properties. Another major red flag is that they never give out their real names or any clear information about who they are.

Because of how suspicious this has become, I have also notified local authorities.

Please protect yourself:
• Verify property ownership before scheduling
• Be cautious about giving out personal information
• Never meet at vacant properties alone
• Trust your instincts if something feels off
• Consider checking county property records when possible

As cleaners and service providers, many of us work alone, so safety has to come first. Please stay alert and share this with other professionals who may need the warning.

After fueling up with breakfast with the seniors and surviving school graduation rehearsal, I made a beeline home to tackle these jobs for my new client and I'm going to mention they involved a whopping 16 windows lol and let's just say I was silently begging baby Jesus to put a temporary hold on bird flight schedules while I had the windows down trying to clean them lol

Every time I do my client’s weekly clean, I catch myself staring at that garden tub thinking… “I could just slip in for a few minutes, relax, and then get back to work” 😂

There’s just something about a freshly cleaned bathroom—the countertops shining just right, the glass shower door spotless, and that tub looking way too inviting. It almost feels like a mini spa moment… even if it’s not mine.

Not gonna lie, 15 minutes in there sounds real tempting… maybe even 30 😌
