So yesterday I received a call from a gentleman that said he needed an estimate for installing new field lines. He stated that he had just had his tank pumped out and that someone I did a system for recently recommended to them to call me for an estimate. Then he told me that when they pumped out the tank that there was a piece of white pipe in the bottom of the tank and wanted to know if that may be the cause of his system failure. I immediately scheduled him in for today and went to check out his system. Come to find out his outlet line inside the tank was broken off and the outlet line outside the tank was broken in two places. When removing the outlet line, I discovered something I’ve never seen in a outlet line, a Gatorade bottle was stuck in the line. I assume being that the outlet with filter was broken off, whoever pumped the tank out last year must had threw a Gatorade bottle inside the tank. We’ll just to show you how God works, that Gatorade bottle was the only thing that stopped the outlet line from clogging up all the way back the header of the field lines. This family had called another well known local septic company and was told to call an engineer to have them come check soil and do perks for new field line installation. Nobody would come out to check to see if it was a simple repair or not but me. They would have easily spent over 10K to replace their field lines and I was able to fix their outlet lines and conduct back flow test to ensure the field lines were perfectly fine. Saved them a TON of money $$$ and they were very thankful and grateful. The wife said she had prayed and asked God to heal their Septic System and I’m so glad God used me to do it. Went to a home where all the drains was backing up into the toilet and tube inside the home. Just as I arrived the Septic pumping truck was leaving. They charged the homeowners $300 to pump the tank and in the process broke the outlet pipe in the tank. After examining the drain and the tank, I determined that the drain was clugged with roots that had grown through pipe and clogged drain pipe. The pipe that was used was thin wall pvc and not schedule 40 pvc. Typically a homeowner would have paid $4-5k to replace field lines and install new septic system, but I was able to fix it and completely repair the system for less than $100 in materials.
