How often do you *actually* stick to all those shiny new habits you set for yourself? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I mean, we all KNOW how important it is to set habits & we truly DO feel super committed to making them happen... at first...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before you go attributing your "failed habits" to a lack of self-discipline, there's something I want you to know. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✨Your habit setting process is NOT going to look like anyone else's✨⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Yeah, what works for someone else is not guaranteed to work for you. Just because someone preaches the magic of meditation doesn't mean that you should force yourself to meditate when it's just *clearly* not doing anything for you!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The LAST thing to do when you hit a wall in your habit journey is "push through." ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Pushing through is *only* going to hurt you. Not only are you WAY more likely to burn out, but you are also losing the chance to let your intuition guide you towards a solution that will feel SO. MUCH. BETTER. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, here are some things to think about...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
→ Are you setting this habit because YOU want to or because you think you SHOULD? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As my new favorite quote goes, "If it isn't a F*ck yes, it's got to be a F*ck no." Don't waste your time on habits you don't *actually* care about.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

→ Can you change the way you define success for this habit?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you KNOW the habit is aligned, play with your expectations! Can you post 2 reels a week instead of 5? Maybe 5 minutes of meditation, instead of 15, is the sweet spot. YOU define your own success.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
