Where my seasonal workers at? 😅

You all know I love my job, but man - August will take you out. Burnout is real and so I punched a sunflower and you know what? It felt so good.

Last night, I took some time to simply enjoy the farm for myself.

After everyone left our event, I sat alone in the twilight with a glass of wine and a bouquet I cut for myself and just took it all in.

No crop planning or business brainstorming. No to-do lists or thinking about how to optimize anything.

Just sitting. Listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. It. Was. Lovely.

When half my brain is already in planning mode for 2027 it’s easy to forget about right now.

I’m glad I took the time, I needed it. 😚
