We are incredibly honored to be named Best Home Cleaning Service of the 2026 Bayou Buzz Awards! 🐝🙌🏻

What’s so crazy about this is that just last year, we had barely started our business when the Bayou Buzz nominations rolled around. We remember talking about how amazing it would be if, one day, we could just be nominated. That alone felt like such a huge milestone to reach for a brand new small business!

Starting a business is scary. There are so many moments of doubt, wondering if you’re making the right decisions or if anyone notices the hard work you’re putting in. This award is a reminder that people do notice, and that this community truly supports local businesses.

We’re beyond grateful for every opportunity you’ve given us, and we promise to keep showing up, working hard, and treating every home and every client like family.

Meet the faces behind Dirty Pelican Cleaning! 👋🏼

Hi y’all! We wanted to officially introduce ourselves to the clients and community who support our small business.

Riley is married to her husband Cole and spent the last few years traveling with him before deciding to come back home to Louisiana to settle down. The two were married May of 2025! Riley genuinely loves cleaning and creating organized, refreshed spaces — there’s just something satisfying about it to her!

Ainslee is a proud mom to her son and has lived in West Monroe her entire life. As a mom, she knows firsthand how overwhelming life can get and how much of a difference a clean, peaceful home can make. Cleaning isn’t just a job for her — it’s rewarding knowing she can give other families a little breathing room when they need it most.

We’ve been friends for years, and our friendship actually started when we were coworkers at a local boutique! When Riley moved back home, we decided to take a leap of faith, combine our work ethic and attention to detail, and launch our own cleaning business together.
