I recently installed a feed door in our chicken coop, which allows me to easily provide food to the flock without entering the coop or risking an escape. Over time, I’ve come to realize the significant improvements this small addition has made to our daily maintenance routine.

No matter what your current coop setup may be, there is always potential for enhancement. I would be happy to offer a "fresh set of eyes" to identify possible improvements or even incorporate aspects of our design into yours.

Another Good Morning!
Did you know ⁉️
During the cold winter months, egg production halts. Usually, young hens (under 1year) will continue to lay. Once the days get longer and freezing temperatures give way, egg production will start to speed up again!
We have 4 young hens, but only two are laying an egg everyday during this brutal winter in Western PA !🥶
Hence why we are very grateful we get two fresh eggs daily♥️♥️

Let’s talk EGGS! 🥚

🐓The color of the chicken egg depends on the breed!
🐓Size of egg will vary. Smaller when they first start laying.
🐓Egg production slows down when temperatures drop.
🐓Color/size of the egg does not change taste of egg.
