🎉 WE DID IT! 🎉

Our Bottle Caps to Benches Initiative has officially reached our goal of **200 pounds of bottle caps!**

What started as a simple idea quickly grew into something incredible. We have been overwhelmed by the support from our community, local businesses, schools, libraries, YMCAs, recycling centers, and countless individuals who chose to be part of something bigger.

But here's the exciting part...

We're already well on our way toward collecting enough bottle caps for a **SECOND bench!** ♻️💚

To help streamline collections, we will begin removing the smaller collection buckets from participating businesses next week. However, you can still drop off bottle caps at the **Staunton Recycling Center** and **Waynesboro Recycling Center** as we continue working toward our next goal of **400 pounds**.

As this project continues to grow, so do the costs associated with making it happen. While the bottle caps are donated, the project still requires fuel for weekly collection routes, transportation expenses, promotional materials, and collection displays.

💚♻️ COMMUNITY STRONG ♻️💚

Our Bottle Caps to Benches project is getting closer to the finish line — and we need your help to get there!

Together, our communities across Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta County have already collected nearly 200 pounds of plastic bottle caps that will be recycled into a bench for LIFEworks Project at River City Bread Basket in Waynesboro — a client-choice food pantry providing nourishment, compassion, and essential services to local families in need.

This project has brought together local YMCAs, libraries, recycling centers, businesses, families, and community members with one shared goal: turning something simple into something meaningful.

At Executive Cleaning Solutions, we are proudly volunteering our time to collect, sort, process, and transport the bottle caps to Green Tree Plastics in Indiana while also covering the cost of the bench itself.

Now we’re asking our community to help support the final stretch.

Your donations will help cover:
🚗 Fuel for weekly collection routes
📦 Transportation costs
🪧 Community outreach & collection displays
♻️ Administrative costs for the project

Our fundraising goal is $1,500, and any remaining funds will go directly toward launching a second bench project in the future!

Our bottle caps to Benches Initiative is booming! We've collected 50 pounds of plastic bottle caps toward our 200 pound goal in 3 weeks. Let's keep the momentum going! If we exceed our 200 pound goal for bench #1, we will be looking at donating a second bench! Huge thanks to out local communities for showing up and helping out.
