Repeated rain can show you where buildup starts around your home 🌧️

The areas where water runs, splashes, drips, or pools are usually the first places to collect dirt, algae, mildew, and stains.

Today’s job was a little different... and very local.

We were out in Millbridge (Waxhaw) working on the graffiti cleanup at the pergola/deck area near the main entrance that many neighbors have been talking about.

Graffiti removal is a tough process. The heavier spots needed a specialty treatment first, then multiple careful passes with the pressure washer to start lifting the paint.

It is frustrating to see a community space damaged like this, but we were grateful for the chance to help clean it up.

More to come on this project.

Just a peek at the process 👀

As a local business, we know we’re not just working on “properties.” We’re working on homes in our own community.

That means taking the extra time, paying attention to the details, and treating each job with the kind of care we’d want at our own house.

Rain may rinse loose dust, but it usually does not remove algae, mildew, pollen residue, or buildup attached to the surface. 🌧️ 🌧️ 🌧️

It can also leave moisture behind, especially on shaded siding, patios, and walkways. After a few rainy days, check shaded areas that still look dark once everything else has dried.

Customer reviews are our Monday morning coffee ☕️

Grateful for customers who take the time to share their experience. This is what we aim for on every job... clear communication, careful work, and a clean result.

More pressure is not always better 💦

Concrete, siding, brick, wood, roofing, and painted surfaces all need different cleaning methods. Too much pressure can leave marks, force water where it should not go, damage siding, strip surfaces, or create uneven cleaning lines.

Pressure is for durable surfaces. More delicate areas usually need a softer approach.

You see your home every day, so your brain starts filtering out the little exterior changes.

The driveway slowly gets darker.
The walkway loses brightness.
The front steps collect dirt and pollen.
The shaded siding near the entry starts to look a little green.

None of it happens overnight, which is why it is so easy to miss.

Here's a simple and effective tip: stand at the curb, then walk toward your front door like you are visiting your own home.

Pay attention to the surfaces people see first: driveway, walkway, steps, porch, columns, and siding around the entry.

That quick walk usually shows you what needs attention next. 🏠

After a summer weekend, the inside of the house usually gets cleaned first.

But the outside takes a beating too.

Three areas worth checking after a cookout, pool day, or family gathering:

1. Patio or pool deck
2. Front walkway
3. Driveway / parking area

These areas collect food traffic, spilled drinks, wet footprints, pollen, leaves, and grime faster than most homeowners realize.

It is not always about doing a full clean. Sometimes it is just knowing what areas are starting to look rough before they get worse.

July 4th weekend reminder for local homeowners:

Before people notice the food, the decorations, or the backyard setup, they usually notice the driveway, front walkway, patio, and entry area.

Those are the first surfaces guests walk across.

A quick exterior check before hosting:

* Front walkway
* Driveway
* Patio or pool deck
* Porch / entry area
* Outdoor seating area

Sometimes the outside of the home sets the tone before anyone even walks inside.
