Spring cleaning season is here 🌿✨ and mirrors always look easy… until they’re covered in streaks.

Quick trick: turn the lights off before you clean them.

Heat and light near the mirror can dry the cleaner too fast = streaks.

If they’re still streaky, it’s usually wrong product, wrong cloth, or the mirror just being a little stubborn that day lol.

What we use:
• Microfiber cloth (always)
• Sometimes a squeegee
• Light all-purpose cleaner
• Or Soap + water
• Or just water

Most of the time, it’s just microfiber + the right cleaner.

And once you get that right, mirrors are way easier than they act.

Be honest… are your mirrors usually crystal clear, or do they fight back a little?

Most homes don’t need a cabinet full of cleaners.

You can realistically get through almost everything with a few basics:

-a degreaser for kitchen grease
-a cleaner for bathroom buildup like soap scum
-and something for general everyday cleaning
-Disinfecting is more situational, not something most surfaces need all the time.

A lot of products people buy end up doing the same job in slightly different bottles.

Microwave looking a little rough? Here’s a simple trick you can try at home. Heat a bowl of water for 3 minutes and let it sit a couple minutes. The steam loosens stuck-on food so it wipes away easily. If you have a lemon, add a slice for a fresh smell.

When we clean, our go-to solution is HOCl. We spray it, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe. It lifts bacon smells and any lingering odors fast and saves a ton of scrubbing.

Free cleanings for indivuals battling cancer

In recognition of breast cancer awareness month we want to offer a free cleaning for anyone going through cancer surgery, or treatments.

Doctor visits, treatment sessions and different types of therapies are all very time consuming, leaving less time for daily chores and routines.
We want to allow these brave individuals to focus on their health and treatment while we focus on and take away the stress and work of cleaning their homes– free of charge.

If you or anyone you know is currently receiving cancer treatment please send us a message to be added to our schedule for a Free House Cleaning. We do have limited slots this month but we'll try to fit in as many as possible.

Lemon is a terrific cleaning agent. One of our favorite ways to use lemon is to clean the microwave. Just slice it in half, squeeze half of the lemon into a microwave safe bowl filled halfway with water, set the lemon in the bowl, and microwave for 3-5 mins. The acid in lemons is antibacterial and antiseptic, and the citrus smell is so refreshing.
