Important things to teach your children.

1. It’s okay to cry when you’re hurt, but cry on your feet.

2. What choice would you make if you knew you wouldn’t be criticized? That’s the right choice.

3. How you feel about the facts doesn’t change the facts.

4. Know the difference between what you are responsible for and what you feel responsible for.

5. Be willing to be wrong.

6. If you’re going to have an opinion, you’d better know why.

7. Everyone is in pain. Be mindful.

8. Know how to craft a good apology.

9. Punch through your target.

10. Smile. And mean it.

11. Bored isn’t a thing. Lazy is.

12. Know what you believe, why, and never sacrifice it.

13. Actively build the people around you.

14. You can have all the possessions in the world, and still have nothing of value. BE of value.

15. Compassion makes Kings and Queens of peasants.

16. Question everything.

17. Nothing is ever just one thing.

18. Your body, your rules.

19. If you’re going to cuss, be clever about it.

20. Be the friend you want to have.

21. Wholeness is being healthy, happy and strong in your heart, mind, body and spirit.

22. Leave everything better than when you found it.

23. You can always come home.
