Why did I choose this logo design? Well, let me tell you.

The car in the logo is the rear view of a 1963 Split-Window Corvette. Why this particular car? Because it represents the mindset I have for my business and my life.

1. Most people consider this car a unicorn—unique and rare, just like each one of us. God made every one of us different for a reason.

2. The Split-Window Corvette was only produced for one year. It reminds me that we only get one life, so don’t waste it. Not a single one of us is getting out alive, so make your time count.

3. The large body piece that split the rear window made it nearly impossible to see clearly through the rearview mirror. That reminds me to never look back. The past is the past, and there is absolutely nothing we can do to change it.

Keep your eyes through the windshield, drop a gear, smoke the tires, and keep moving forward.

Alabama heat is no joke.

Whether it’s your daily driver, work truck, side-by-side, or tractor, that cab can get HOT sitting in the sun.

That’s where a good ceramic window film makes a difference. It’s not just about making the windows darker. Ceramic tint helps cut down the heat coming through the glass and blocks UV rays, making those hot Alabama days a little easier on you and your interior.

If you’re already running the A/C wide open and still cooking, it might be time to do something about those windows.

Some cars are more than just cars — they’re a lifetime of memories.

My client purchased this car brand new in 1965 at just 20 years old, and he’s been driving and enjoying it ever since. The few stories he shared with me about the adventures this car has seen were pretty entertaining… and I’m sure there are waaaaay more that probably aren’t appropriate for Facebook. 😂

After recently having the car repainted, he felt like the finish still had more to give — so he brought it to D&P Auto Detailing.

I carefully sanded every panel to remove paint nibs, texture, and other imperfections in the fresh paint. From there, the paint was cut and polished to bring out that deep, rich shine this classic deserved. Once everything was dialed in, I finished it with a quality sealant to help protect the paint and make it easier to keep clean.

We didn’t stop with the paint either.

The windows received 35% ceramic window film, helping protect that classic interior from UV exposure while cutting down on the Alabama heat — without taking away from the timeless look of the car.

There’s something pretty special about working on a car that someone bought new over 60 years ago and still owns, drives, and enjoys today.
