Who would’ve thought 6 years ago I would be where I am today.
I can hardly believe it- I’ve been cleaning toilets that long!
Before there was GCC I was working multiple jobs, and taking courses on and off through Malone. I was a server at Olive Garden for many years, a nurses assistant at Gentle Brook working the night shift (which I grew to love), and lastly, side jobs of pet sitting… which is where it all started.
While watching a friend's fur babies I had some free time and decided to clean/ organize areas around the house to surprise the owners when they came home. Turns out I had a knack for it! Months later a friend was rehoming a cat and in order to keep tabs on it I offered the owner of the home a job proposition; I’d come and clean and at the same time I could still see the cat. (Typical me- I know- all for the love of animals)
One client became a few and a few turned into the GCC community that it is today serving over 50 clients (and still accepting new clients) allowing me to invest into this company full time and do what I love- helping others.
I was studying to be a social worker while at Malone but I also had a passion for the medical field and took courses to potentially become an LPN but life had other plans. The knowledge I acquired from college, service industry, and the medical field really allowed me to see cleaning and organizing in a new light.
Cleaning isn’t just a chore but a way to make a house a home, build character by accomplishing tasks when no one else is watching, it's helping a weighed down soul feel free again when GCC can come in and clear away the clutter.
GCC has grown to bring on amazing employees as well. I have always admired the strength of a woman and think of mothers as real life super heroes. I wanted GCC to be a work place that could be the perfect fit for a mother needing an understanding work space, flexible hours with their children’s needs, and feel supported and encouraged by another working woman who truly sees them and the effort they’re making to keep everything going. I hope to continue to grow the company and bring on as many women and mothers as I can.
I wouldn’t be where I am without you- a loyal client of GCC. The support and kindness I’ve received from each of you will stay with me forever.
Kindness is never forgotten.
I want you to know that I treasure the relationships made with each of you and I’m so grateful to have been welcomed into your homes and could help out in any way I could to make your homes a more peaceful atmosphere to come home to.
Sometimes cleaning can be overwhelming but it's the clients' faces when they see what their homes can be that makes it all worth it.
I hope to bring you many more years of reliable cleaning services.
Yours Truly,
