Just a heads up for those interested in a Sew Day. We are meeting at the library this Saturday from 9-4 in Marvin Aud B. We will provide an ironing and cutting station. Bring your machine and project and come have fun with us!!!

News Flash!!! There's some changes to the Sew Day information. Dec 6th is the same as previously stated. Starting in January 2026 Sew Days are in the Topeka library Marvin Auditorium B from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates: Jan 24, Mar 21, May 16, June 27, July 11, Aug 15, Sep 19, and Oct 24. Ironing and cutting stations will be provided. If you have a multi plug extension cord, please bring it. If you have any questions, please call or text me at 785-640-2480. Thank you.

I guess I should tell everyone....the rest of the story. Sandi explained that the NHBC was merging with another congregation. That congregation has some remodeling plans for the main building and the fellowship building where we sewed. So we no longer have access there. I got busy and located a nice room at the Tooeka library where we can continue to have fun sewing together. Hope to see you there!!

Good morning, quilters!! I have located a place for us to have our Sew Day again!! Topeka Public Library! We will meet in Claire's Sunroom on Dec 6th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Our first Sew Day of 2026 will be on Jan 3rd. Come and have fun sewing with us!

I hope all of you are looking forward to our Sew Day, this Saturday, August 16th at 920 NW 62nd St. We start about 9 a.m. and finish up about 3:30 to 4 p.m. I missed seeing everyone last month. Happy sewing!!

Hello, folks
It's almost time for our Sew Day, next Saturday, June 22st. My shout out about it is extremely late due to unforeseen circumstances. My mom, one of my sisters, and I had to make a quick trip to Tulsa this week. My sister, Diana, stopped eating and drinking last Friday and passed away on Tuesday. She was diagnosed with Alzheimers about 10 years ago. She was 65. I should be there at Sew Day to enjoy sewing with everyone. Hug your family everyday.

Sorry this is such late notice, but we are still having Sew Day this coming Saturday, May 17th. Come and join us for a fun day of sewing and sharing at 920 NW 62nd St. Cost is just $5 for use of the building. Great lighting for sewing! We start about 9 a.m. and we're all gone by 4 p.m. Hope to see you there.
