The end of an era. This was the last plasma to be replaced. 📺 Since the days of standard def, this 50” plasma has seen every buzzer-beater, championship, and heartbreak right here on this wall.

But today, we’re officially entering the big leagues. Say hello to the new 85” view. More screen, more pixels, and way more reasons to grab a seat.🍻🏀

This is what happens when you try to use and spec Axis but only the mounts are available and the customer wants to move ahead. Uniview was used instead and looks great. However, those Axis dual mounts are awesome. I’m not a big fan of the look of turrets, but I thought this came out clean.

Now this install isn’t anything special other than the fact that the doorbell that preceded it was wireless. The door had been redone at some point and the wires system was never poked through the trim. I was about to retrofit the wiring when I drilled into the frame and the wire happened to be there and was intact. This made for a much shorter and less invasive install. All I needed to do was upgrade the transformer. If only every job provided that much luck.

Hikvision DS-2CD6D54G1-IZS also custom painted in black. TEK 5 screws, strut, and cathedral mount for the hang. The Light Source black aluminum pipe cut and threaded on a Rigid threader for the pipe drop. The threader requires NPSM dies to get the proper fit. Normally the dies are tapered.
