As a business owner, your word is your life source. If you tell someone you are going to be there, it is paramount that you are.
I had the opportunity to take a job that the client had thought they had taken care of with several other companies, and then was left without the team ever showing up, no explanation, no apologies, no communication with the client after scheduling the work to start.
Thankfully for the client, they had not paid anything out, so the only loss was time spent restarting the search (more than once) to get the project done.
I saw the last request for help, sent out a message, scheduled the initial consult for the same day, and had the project done by the following day.

This month has been busy. A month where the focus has been larger jobs. Jobs that did not really allow for me to share along the way, but once the journey was made.
The important take away, is that life happens, and sometimes we get in a place we find it hard to get back from, for one reason or another.
Home organization and life solutions that are developed to be long lasting and specific to each client are something that I enjoy. They can give a person the edge they need to get back to where they were, and get back their sense of self worth, that impacts everything else in their life.
I'm here to help without judgement, because I've been there, more than once.
I'm thankful that I got to be there for this person and their family to help them reset and begin anew.

Someone who understands how I think about cleaning.

Let’s talk about something that will instantly level up your cleaning…

Cleaning vs. Deep Cleaning (what actually matters)

Most people think they’re “deep cleaning” when they’re really just doing a really good standard clean.

Here’s the difference:

Standard Cleaning (maintenance):
• Wipe surfaces
• Clean bathrooms/kitchen
• Vacuum & mop
• Dust reachable areas

Deep Cleaning (detail work):
• Hand-wipe baseboards, doors, and trim
• Clean behind/under furniture (if accessible)
• Detail blinds, vents, and light fixtures
• Scrub buildup (soap scum, grease, hard water)
• Wipe cabinet fronts, edges, and high-touch spots

What actually makes the difference?
It’s not just “more cleaning”… it’s more scrubbing + more detail work.

That’s why deep cleans take me a full day (or more) solo.

If your home still doesn’t feel clean after you clean it…
you probably need detail work, not more products.

Save this so you can use it as a checklist next time 🤍

Now tell me what’s one thing from the deep clean list you never do? 👇

Lane Cedar Chest Restoration done & another happy client. Finally finished & delivered to the client, another family heirloom to be enjoyed by the 4th or 5th generation in their family. Repaired a broken side, resecured/tightened the two remaining sides. Replaced missing stuff buttons on the feet. Removed the original stained and worn seat cushion and fabric to replace the moisture/humidity damaged cushion, and updated the fabric to suit the newest generation to make use of it.

This is what ten hours of landscape rescue done sustainably can look like. Saved the freeze damaged plants by trimming back to just above where new growth was starting. Removed months of grass growing in planters from clippings thrown from a stand-on mower service. Unburried 100ft of landscape stones, and spread two huge scoops of mulch from the loader at the local recycling center (made from yard debris picked up by the city or dropped off by homeowners or businesses that generate tree/brush trimming).
Budget friendly and done in a day for a client - long day, but still one day .

When I said this week has been busy...
Yes it was dark, hadn't eaten dinner myself, but the critters had been fed. Had to get lawn equipment ready for tomorrow morning's client, so between 8 and 10pm, I'm the neighbor out with rechargeable reading light, aimed at the sidewalk and stepping stone pathway to the door (at home), testing out the w**d wacker and walk behind edger tonight so everything is ready with no issues. For the curious, Nope, I did not mow as the mower never causes heartache, that w**d Wacker though... not my friend. Miss the dewalt terribly.
Probably going to need to invest in a spare blade for edger so I can switch out to sharpen the one currently on edger.

Been busy wrapping up some things, and starting others. This adventure of self employment / entrepreneurship does better when you step up with faith in yourself and your willingness to be brave. This fortune from dinner a few years back was a reminder to put value on myself. Maybe it's words will be what you needed today.
