Owner Bio: Mike
I started my full-time plumbing career in 2000, initially specializing in residential services. After two years, I went to a plumbing trade school and transitioned to new construction plumbing, working on homes, hospitals, churches, high-rise buildings, and schools. After 16 years in new construction, I returned to residential services, which I believed was the best fit for my skills. In 2019, I founded Mike's Plumbing to work locally and spend more time with my family.
I am grateful for the clients who supported me in launching my business, helping it expand to four trucks. The highlight has been partnering with my wife, Jenny. I am a fifth-generation Texan, raised in New Waverly. Jenny and I recently celebrated our 25th anniversary. I have three children, and I recently became a grandfather. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, fishing, reading, and creating art. My dream is to retire to a house by the water, surrounded by my wife, children and grandkids.

Our newest staff member, Marilynn, started working in March 2025. She is a long time resident of Huntsville Texas. She aspires to succeed so she won't have to worry about little matters. Gregg became our newest employee when he started working at Mike's Plumbing in March 2025. Gregg was born in Akron, Ohio, but soon after, he moved to Texas. He has worked in new construction and residential service for ten years. Gregg intends to start his own plumbing business after earning his RMP. Gregg has received a lot of good feedback during his time here. He likes most outdoor activities, such as camping and target practice. Since Gregg is a plumbers plumber, I can be sure that he will do a project quickly, effectively, and in accordance with code.

Devin began working at Mike's Plumbing in August 2023 as a third-year apprentice. Devin is a long time resident of Willis Texas. He recently got married and is excited to extend his family. He is currently getting ready for the Journeyman Exam. He has been an excellent trainee who is willing to follow directions and has good problem-solving skills. He enjoys paintballing, playing music, and an avid gamer. Devin is a charming individual who brightens everyone's day with his gifts. He is the person I go to when I need an apprentice for the day.

Peyton is our newest Apprentice, having started with Mike's Plumbing in December 2024. He has lived in Kingwood, Texas, for a long period. He likes to weld, play XBox, and enjoys basketball. He wants to be a business owner. Despite having the least amount of on-the-job experience, Peyton's eagerness to learn makes me believe that he will become a skilled plumber very quickly. He works diligently, is consistently punctual, prepared for work, and well-mannered.

In March 2023, Chris began working at Mike's Plumbing. He has lived in Spring, Texas, all his life. He is a fourth-year apprentice who is almost at the hour requirement for a journeyman license. Installing water heaters, repiping water lines, and fixture removal are his specialties. Chris wants to work toward becoming a master plumber. He hopes to acquire a house of his own someday. Chris likes to cook, work out, and watch and play football. Chris is the apprentice with the longest tenure, the fewest missing days, and the fewest tardy days. He always arrives at work prepared. He is extremely well-groomed and well-organized.

In October 2023, Devin began working at Mike's Plumbing. After completing his last hours as an apprentice, he applied for a tradesman's license, took the test, and passed. Devin specializes in water heater services and toilet repairs. He picks things up quickly and keeps going when things get difficult. He intends to continue his plumbing career in order to obtain his Master Plumbing License and launch his own plumbing company. Devin is a native of Willis who likes to work on vehicles, play basketball, and go boating. In the brief time I've known Devin, he's made great progress. In January 2024, Alex began working for Mike's Plumbing. He hails from Richmond, Texas, and is a third-generation plumber. One day, he hopes to launch his own plumbing company after obtaining his master's plumbing license. Alex has eleven years of expertise as a well-rounded residential service plumber. Alex has four children and is married. He likes to hang out at the beach and grill with his loved ones. He enjoys playing Magic the Gathering a lot. I know I'm in excellent hands when I send Alex to service a customer's home or place of business since he takes care in what he does. I have enjoyed working with a number of plumbers, and Alex is among the most knowledgeable.

Bio of Employee: Jenny
My wife, Jenny, is the foundation of Mike's Plumbing. Jenny has spent more than thirty years living in Montgomery County. When a customer contacts us, she is the first person they speak with. She is the most valuable employee at Mike's Plumbing, and we are fortunate to have her. Her everyday responsibilities include scheduling jobs, sending out technicians, billing, and purchasing. Jenny likes to craft, listen to audiobooks, and listen to music. Spending time with her spouse, three children, and grandson is something she treasures. When she is able to retire and live a relaxed life with her family, her life will be complete.
