This was the main reason our family decided to build our own coffee cup brand.

Most disposable cup brands use PS material for their coffee cup lids and are not concerned about the health of their customers and the environment.

Polystyrene (PS) material has a very low melting temperature which you can see in our last post. Therefore when the hot steam heats up the lid, then you take a sip from your drink to allow all the melted chemicals leach into your beverage.

These toxins are known to cause cancer and various health problems.

At VANAKI, we have solved this important issue by designing the best POLYPROPYLENE (PP) lids which is on the next slide.

While our lids are not harmful for your health due to their high melting temperature, they are also helping our environment with their recyclability.

That's why we have designed these perfect Polypropylene (PP) Lids that are fully recyclable which makes the whole unit (including cup, stirrer and carrier) 100% recyclable.

Take your morning coffee to work and refill it during your breaks, then at the end of your shift,throw the whole thing in the recycle bin with a clear conscience.

Clear conscience because you know this product will not be ending up in our oceans and harming our wild life.

Instead it will be recycled for it's materials and reused else where!

The Stylish design of this Fully Recyclable Paper Cup is amazing.

It has a Triple Layer Corrugated Ripple Wall, which helps Insulate the Cup to keep your Beverage Temperature and keep your Hands Cozy at the same time! There is no need for loose external sleeves anymore!

It also has a very Thick and Rigid feel. It never gets Soggy, even after Multiple Refills throughout the day!

The Cup is has the perfect size of 400ml-12oz. It fits in all coffee machines perfectly.

A little bit about VANAKI:

VANAKI is a small family business based in Vancouver, Canada. Our values are more about giving than receiving. We genuinely enjoy adding value and joy to people's lives. We are always giving a portion of our income to various charities every month. We are on a spiritual mission to make a positive impact on 3 million lives.

We don't drink much Coffee but we do drink a lot of Tea!

This premium paper cups idea sparked at a time where we lost 4 reusable stainless steal Coffee Mugs in one month. We kept forgetting them at places like work, school, ect.

We wanted to save that worry of forgetting our expensive 20-30$ coffee mugs all the time. We also dreaded washing these mugs every morning before work. We wanted a cheap disposable solution that met our needs.

We tried various kinds of Paper Cups and they all had a flaw in them.

For the longest time, we were using Polystyrene (PS) Lids. Until we found that these plastics have a very low melting temperature and start leaching harmful chemicals into your hot liquid.

We found many many down sides in every single Paper Cup Brand we used; like our beverage getting cold too fast due to very thin layers, burning our lips because of the flat lip designs of the Lids, cups turning soggy after one use, accidental spillage and splashes and much more...

I remember a time when I was at a meeting with a cheap Paper Cup with hot tea inside. I went to take a sip and... I start feeling my dress shirt getting wet... I look down to see the black tea dripping down through the Lid seal of the Paper Cup.

That is when we decided to create our own brand of Premium, Triple Layered Insulated Paper Coffee Cups Set with Polypropylene (PP) Lids and Stirrers and a few handy Cup Carriers.

✅ The Cups are thick, rigid and sturdy.
✅ The Lids are PP plastic which is the BPA free with a much higher melting point than PS Lids.
✅ The Stirrers and wooden and long.
✅ The Carriers are foldable and reusable.
