Is the ceramic coating failing?! 🧐
Not at all. I had a customer of mine call me really upset that my work wasn’t holding up. After asking some questions about what he meant, turns out it’s riddled with water spots that won’t wash off. I communicated to him that Ceramic Coating does not prevent water spots, and I never have said that before. But he dropped it off to me. He had mentioned that is from his sprinkler system. Sprinkler systems have heavy minerals in the water to feed the grass, but those minerals cause damage to cars paint.
And unfortunately, I wasn’t able to remove the water spots with a chemical bath. The way you remove them now is to bath them out and unfortunately that’s going to remove this Ceramic Coating along with it.
This is something I recommend Icon Rocklear instead. Icon Rocklear is much thicker and stronger and withstand many times being buffed polished. So this was Icon Rocklear with water spots in it even come close to removing it by removing the water spots.
