A little update about my free cleans ♥️

For anyone who follows along with my free clean giveaways, I wanted to let you know that I won’t be doing one for October or November.

This time of year is a little heavier for me personally.
It has been a year since I lost my brother, and the anniversary of his passing falls during these months.
I’ve decided to give myself a little extra grace and take a step back from the giveaway while I navigate that.

I absolutely plan to bring the free cleans back, this is just a season where I need to take care of myself a little more.

A floor transformation! ✨

There’s nothing like seeing years of dirt, buildup, and everyday grime come off and watching a floor look fresh again!

This linoleum kitchen floor got a much needed deep clean, and the difference is utterly amazing to me.

This took me almost 5 hours of scrubbing on my hands and knees, using a handheld steamer and good old fashioned elbow grease.
Let me tell you when I saw the difference in the first tile, I was HOOKED. 😍
Not only was this a challenge I needed, it was SUCH a satisfying cleaning.

Not to mention my client was absolutely thrilled with the results and that is what is important to me. 😊

Sometimes a room isn’t just a messy room.

Sometimes it’s a room that has slowly become too overwhelming to tackle. A room full of things that need decisions, piles that keep getting moved, and a little voice in the back of your head saying, “I really need to deal with this.” Sometimes it’s a reminder of what you’re going through in that moment.

And this beautiful client of mine has been putting in the WORK.
If you’re seeing this, I just want you to know I am SO proud of you! 👏🏼

I finally got to tackle that room for them yesterday.

I uncovered the floor. I cleared the piles. I sorted, organized, moved things around, and little by little, the room started feeling like a room again.
And honestly? That feeling is why I love what I do. It’s not just about cleaning.
It’s about giving someone back a space they can actually breathe in. ❤️
It’s about taking something that feels completely overwhelming and breaking it down into little, manageable pieces.

No judgment. No shame. No lectures about how it got this way.

Just two hands, a plan, and a whole lot of progress. 🧹

This is why I started Poppy’s Cleaning Co.
Because everybody deserves to feel comfortable in their own home even when life has gotten messy.

One room at a time. One reset at a time. 💪🏼✨

September Free Clean Spin!

Sorry I am late! It’s been a busy week already!
I will be doing the spin tomorrow for my free clean for September! 🥰

Good morning!

August is going to be a very full month for me with family gatherings, doctors’ appointments, and celebrating 7 years of marriage with my husband, so I’ve decided to take a little break from offering a free cleaning this month.

But that just means it’s time to open nominations for September! 🥹

I’ll be choosing one person in the Sweetwater area who truly needs a helping hand.

I know that sometimes life just becomes a lot. Work, kids, health problems, grief, mental health, exhaustion, or simply having too many things pile up at once. And when life feels overwhelming, something as simple as a messy or unfinished home can make everything feel even heavier.

That’s where I’d love to step in. ❤️

I want to give someone the opportunity to breathe a little easier, walk into their home without feeling overwhelmed, and have one less thing on their shoulders.

Depending on the condition and needs of the home, this may be one full cleaning or multiple weekly visits to help get things back to a manageable place.

Either way, it will be done personally by me, with no rushing, no shortcuts, and absolutely no judgment. Just genuine care, compassion, and the same attention I give every home I have the privilege of cleaning.

You can nominate yourself or someone you know. I especially want people to know that there is no need to be embarrassed or ashamed to reach out. You don’t have to have a “good enough” reason. Sometimes people just need someone to step in and say, “Let me help you.” ❤️

I’ll be choosing someone at the end of August, and I’m opening nominations early to give everyone plenty of time to reach out.

Please understand that I am only able to help one person at this time. I wish I could help everyone who needs it, and I truly hope that as Poppy’s Cleaning Co. continues to grow, I’ll eventually be able to give back to even more people in our community.

I invested in a steam cleaner for my business and I am in LOVE 😍

Today I tackled this guest bathroom floor/grout for one of my amazing monthly clients! I love to incorporate deep cleaning tasks into our visits.

1. It helps me maintain the home and keep it sparkling ✨
2. It gives me a challenge during maintenance cleanings and I LOVE that. 😊

Yesterday’s master bedroom and bathroom deep clean was honestly such a fun one. 🥹❤️

More than anything, I love what a deep clean can do for a space, and for the person living in it. Life gets busy. Sometimes things pile up, and sometimes you just need someone to come in and help you get a fresh start.

There’s absolutely no judgment here, ever.

I got to spend the day giving this space some extra love and attention, and it was so rewarding watching everything come together. ✨

I’m grateful for every home that trusts me with their space. I know cleaning can be personal, and I never take that trust lightly.

Good morning! ☀️

How long as it been since you deep cleaned your fridge? 🤭

Yesterday I got to do a very satisfying deep clean on this fridge and give this client a fresh start. ✨
Everything was emptied, shelves and drawers were removed and cleaned, and the interior was thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom. I discarded any old/expired food and I also made sure to disinfect using isopropyl alcohol due to some mold from the food.

I used dawn power-wash, a plastic scraper for the stuck on bits, isopropyl alcohol and elbow grease. 💪🏼 Make sure to throughly rinse out the dawn with wet microfiber towels!

The before and after of this shower I worked on for my reoccurring client today has me SO giddy and proud of myself!
This is ceramic tile and that grout is indeed NOT white. 😅
The soap scum build up was hiding this beautiful shower underneath 😍
I scrubbed this shower with good old dawn dish soap and for the super stubborn hard water stains I used soft scrub!
(As always DO A TEST SPOT!
READ YOUR LABELS!)

I had a lot of fun bringing this back to life. 🥰
