No screwing around!! It's against code for using/installing any and all type of screws to a dryer vent system. The screw catches the lint and can have the risk of lint building up faster.

Attic vent cleaning: the majority of dryer vents that goes through the attic and out the roof have the problems at the exhaust escape. Creating heavy lint build up and poor airflow.

Birds can make dryer vents and bathroom vents into their homes. Very important to prevent or to get rid of bird intrusion. For health reasons birds can carry pathogens, bacteria and parasites. Another fire hazard when it's hot weather with dry leaves and twigs.

Little by little this bird cage can be covered and block a high percentage of airflow from the dryer. Once a year cleaning and inspection is recommended. This is why bird cages are not acceptable.

We do NOT install or re-install critter guards or bird cages connected to the dryer vent. This can cause lint build up and can have zero airflow.

Flex connection from the dryer to the wall should not be interrupted or crushed into. This can give you extremely poor airflow, high percentage in clogging and not SAFE to use. FIRE HAZARD?!
