Most water damage doesn’t happen because a system fails…
It happens because no one knew it was about to.
A high water alarm is one of the simplest ways to stay ahead of a problem.
It gives you:
Early warning before an overflow
Time to respond before damage is done
Visibility into a system that’s usually out of sight
The key is where you set it.
In this setup, the float is positioned to trigger the alarm when the water level rises about a foot above where the pump should normally turn on.
That buffer is what gives you time to act.
Here’s a simple example of how we typically set up a float switch for a high-water alarm.
Small detail, but it makes all the difference.
Water can back up fast.
An alert sent directly to your phone gives you the time to act before it turns into a much bigger problem.
