Commercial kitchen floors present a unique challenge for janitorial companies. Irregular upkeep of the floors can lead to serious health hazards. Regular maintenance should include daily sweeping, mopping and disinfection. Ideally floors should be light scrubbed on a weekly basis and deep cleaned at least once per month. Special attention should be paid to corners and under the equipment.

How does your VCT floor looks like?

This is before and after pictures of a VCT tile floor that we serviced few days ago.

The main issue with the floor was poor stripping and refinishing job at the time of last service. Excessive amounts of dirt and hair was captured in the wax resulting in a very poor look.

Proper stripping of the floor is 80% of the process. As you can see from the pictures the difference is remarkable. The hallway where service took place looks much brighter now thanks to the beautiful floor.
