If you are:

-Embarrassed to have someone come into your space.
-Worried that you'll be judged, surcharged, or abandoned after one session.
-Exhausted by the idea of "pre-cleaning" before someone comes to help.
-Worried about explaining or defending yourself, or your family members.
-Feeling unable to start, or unable to finish a task because the to-do list is just too long and never gets shorter.

You are not alone!

I'm a parent. I'm neurodivergent. I grew up in a low income and unstable environment. And I'm here to help, without judgement or demand. Together we can build a plan to help you feel in control of your home and your belongings.

By many traditional capitalist standards, my business model might be doomed to be a failure.

I don't post shiny before-and-after photos, or post much at all. I don't pay attention to the algorithms nor do I have any paid advertisements: most of my work comes from direct referrals and simple posts in Groups.

I don't film my process, do cute dancing, or offer merchandise, or virtual coaching. I do have a book coming, about half written, but I'm not on a deadline to finish it.

I'm not working long days, or holidays.
I don't have any employees, and I don't spend money on fancy gear or products to do my work, just the necessities.

And yet.

My clients feel safe with me in their homes, because I've proven to be dependable, helpful, honest, and generous with my time.

I am building a life of joy, and a purpose that actually soothes my strong sense of justice.
This. This is how I can help people, in a world where helping isn't always easy or even possible.

My sacred work is in the home. My own home is still messy, chaotic, but I've slowly felt more in control as I gain confidence in my work.

Opportunities to help more in my community continue to appear. That's more valuable to me than huge one-time payouts, and everything comes back around anyway.

I'm so grateful to everyone who has supported me in this over the last year. Excited to see what the future brings our way.

From a 2025 post in the Barry Fresh Designs Business feature:

1. Please provide a brief intro to who you are, your business, and what you offer.
My name is Corinne Carlson, and I own Sacred Circle Care & Cleaning, based in Spokane, Washington. My business focuses on providing holistic home cleaning, non-medical caregiving, errand services, and companionship. I specialize in supporting seniors, postpartum parents, disabled individuals, and anyone who needs a little extra help. My goal is to create a calm, nurturing environment while reducing stress and enhancing well-being for my clients.

2. Why did you start your business?
I started this business because I’ve always been passionate about helping others feel cared for and supported. After working in multiple different industries across different states, I realized I excel at identifying what people need and creating solutions to make their lives easier. I wanted to build a business that aligns with my values, allows me to connect with others on a personal level, and brings holistic care into everyday tasks—like cleaning and organizing.

3. How did you come up with the name?
The name Sacred Circle Care & Cleaning reflects the heart of what I offer: care that feels personal, specialized, and grounded in community. The “circle” represents connection, inclusivity, and support—values that are central to my work. The name also ties into my interests in holistic and nature-based approaches to care, which I weave into my services at a level personalized to the individual. It’s a little bit witchy, a little bit hippie, and a whole lot of practical solutions.

4. Is it residential only, or do you also offer commercial services?
Currently, I focus on residential services, tailoring my offerings to individuals and families. My work is highly personalized, which works best in home settings.

5. How do you make a difference in the community?
I aim to make a difference by providing more than just practical help. I offer emotional support, companionship, and a sense of connection to my clients. I also focus on referring people to local resources and services when their needs extend beyond what I can provide. By building relationships and fostering trust, I hope to create a ripple effect of care throughout the community.

6. Do you offer any classes or events on what you do?
While Sacred Circle Care & Cleaning doesn’t currently offer classes, I plan to host art classes for children and seniors under my other venture, Sunshine Soul Artistry. These creative sessions will focus on fostering empathy, self-expression and community connection. My social media will have more info as it develops!

7. What can people expect when hiring you?
Clients can expect services that are compassionate, thorough, and tailored to their unique needs. I focus on creating a calm, positive atmosphere and strive to leave clients feeling more relaxed and supported. My goal is to make their lives easier and more enjoyable in whatever way I can.

8. What areas do you service?
I serve Spokane, Washington, and the surrounding areas. I also have plans to offer an e-book, and virtual consults in the near future!

9. Anything else you’d like to share that you think is important?
While anyone can benefit from extra help, my process is extremely neurodivergent-friendly, shown primarily in the level of personalization that I offer each client. It’s also ideal for seniors living independently who just need a little hand with their home maintenance or errands.
I believe that small acts of care can make a big difference. Whether it’s through cleaning, running errands, or simply being present for someone, my mission is to help people feel seen, valued, and supported.
