Tonight’s project was helping out a neighbor by installing protective screens over the exterior vents on his home. We’ve seen a growing issue in our neighborhood with birds finding their way into vents and building nests, which can lead to blockages, damage, and unwanted messes.

This home had two vents that were already occupied by nests. I carefully removed all accessible nesting material from both vents, then installed protective screens on those vents as well as every remaining exterior vent on the home to help prevent future bird intrusion.

To finish the job, I pressure washed the affected areas to remove built-up bird droppings and restore the home’s appearance.

Yesterday’s project was a full apartment clean-out along with carpet and vinyl flooring demolition. We were subcontracted for this job by Total Green Carpet Cleaning Services, and we’re grateful for the opportunity.

It was definitely a tough one, but after nearly 8 hours of hard work, the apartment was cleaned out and ready for the next step. We take pride in showing up, working hard, and making sure every job is completed the right way.

Another project completed for the same customer from the recent garage clean-out. While working on the garage, I noticed an overgrown area of the property that needed some attention, so I offered to come back and take care of it.

The grass was nearly as tall as I am, and once I started clearing it with the string trimmer, I quickly realized there was quite a bit of debris hidden underneath. What started as a simple cleanup turned into another full trailer load of junk removal. On top of that, there were years of built-up leaves, dirt, and overgrowth. After raking and bagging everything up, we hauled away around ten 55-gallon bags of leaves, dirt, and grass.

The transformation was incredible, and seeing how excited the customer was with the results made the hard work worth it.

The next step is leveling the area out and getting it cleaned up even further, so I reached out to my friend Chris, owner of Upper Cut Lawn and Drive LLC. He came right out, provided a quote, and got the project scheduled.

A little late posting this one — it was a busy week, and some much-needed family time was in order.

Last week we completed a large garage clean-out that took 3 days and 4 full loads to finish. By the end of the project, the customer and her family were relieved, grateful, and excited to finally move forward with the next chapter.

This project meant more than just hauling away unwanted items. The customer is currently in Spokane caring for her father, who is on hospice care, while also preparing to inherit the family home. The garage had become overwhelming, and the property could not be insured until the clean-out was completed.

After walking the property with her and listening to her concerns, I assured her that she wouldn’t have to handle the stress alone. We created a plan, handled the logistics, and got to work. The first load focused on obvious junk and debris, which opened up areas the family hadn’t been able to access in years. This gave them time to sort through belongings and decide what was worth keeping.

Unfortunately, due to evidence of mice and squirrels in the garage, donation centers would not accept the remaining items. After confirming that with several organizations, we completed the full clean-out and made multiple trips to the transfer station to get everything properly disposed of.

Now, with the garage finally cleared out, the family can move forward with remodeling and begin restoring the space.

I just got home from a full garage clean out that has taken me 3 days to do. I should be done tomorrow! I can’t wait to post the pictures! I’m proud of this job. And what a sweet customer! I’m glad she chose us to do this job. It’s an honor to be chosen to help her as she goes through this trying time with her father in hospice care. She was overwhelmed, didn’t know where to start. She’s absolutely blown away at the job I’ve done.

Just like that the shed is gone! After a few hours of demolition, hauling, and site cleanup, the old shed was completely removed and the area was left clean and ready for the customer’s new shed installation.
