A recent dryer vent reroute we did to make the dryer vent the correct size for the homeowner. The house was built in the 60s or 70s and they used 3 inch ducting in the wall. Shown in the picture is 4 inch ducting, which is the correct size

Justin found a transition hose behind the dryer full of water this weekend. When a dryer vent gets plugged, that warm wet air has nowhere to go, so it gets stuck in a low point of the vent or in a short run like this one was, the hose behind the dryer.
