A letter to the person who keeps everything,
No matter how busy your home is - you can push the limits and declutter. Go ahead, make yourself sweat if that's what it takes for you to take control of your life. Nobody said it would be easy, but you must be willing to work hard to reap the reward. Remove the things that you no longer need or want. Start out small. It's like riding a bike. You do get better with time. Easy does it, but there is such a thing as too easy. You're making the people around you miserable. Take ownership in that knowledge. Bask in it; you've earned it. Now, let's stand up and shake off the tears. You made this mess; now you need to clean it up. Mend your broken relationships. It's never too late to say sorry, but make sure you actually mean it this time.
What if you want to keep everything, though, and everything has sentimental value? That cup from the 1988 carnival is now affecting the quality of your life. Should you keep the cup and keep the stress or get rid of both? Let's do this together!
- Someone who understands and loves you anyway.
