Well between Piggy and MunkMunks they got one pair of eyes. Lol. Piggy’s right eye is bad and Munkys left eye is blind now. She’s healing good now finally. It was touch n go for a bit But basically the same exact as piggy except Munkys was punctured by another cat She’s a stray but was so fragile n tiny that we let her stay inside cus she couldn’t fight off other strays. We fostered her hoping we’d find a home for her with no luck She snuck outside a few times and wouldn’t come to us this last time. This was why. She got hurt and was scared Poor thing. Pray she has a speedy recovery

Personal work again here I thought I’d share
We made the Flatbed diesel more a work vehicle for the business so things are a little easier
And we bought a personal vehicle. Another 7.3 diesel crew cab short bed with absolutely no rust at all. But it needed an injector And a few other small things
But here’s some pics. I have two injectors out. Putting new orings on them and into the truck. And I’m not priming the oil rails and typing this as the air bleeds out Then I’ll plug things back in and fire her up
She’ll smoke n stink and run like crap for a few minutes. And then hopefully smooth as butter again. If we’re lucky n nothing else wrong. Lol.

We offer Mobile Auto Detailing/Repair and Home Preservation
We come to you for auto maintenance and repairs as well as Detailing services. This is how our business started out in SoFlo. My wonderful n loyal customers kept telling me about their bad experience with contractors. Or that they couldn’t afford the high rates for basic repairs for their Home or Auto So I started using my skills and performing what jobs I could for them and I would Cut their Expense anywhere from 20%-75% off depending on what service was needed

More personal work. I do some Diesel mechanics but mainly Maintenace and I can work on 7.3 n 6.0 power strokes. 6.4s I can but most of there common repair issues require a lift or other tools I don’t have access too

This is our 2001 f250 7.3 Turbo diesel Single Cab flat bed. She’s a super fun truck but can get the tough jobs done too
Used 65k Jasper Transmission burnt up cus the previous owner didn’t finish all the work and never told me. Never flushed the cooler or lines so it sucked up all the old debtor from original Trans Thot I lucked out by cleaning the valve body out good. Drove it for a month and slipped out of gear going up a hill. People say these 4r100 trannys are trash. They may not be the best. But they aren’t trash. The main issue is they can not handle overheating. Even a little And the design for the Transmission cooler was a extremely dumb poor design. I posted a pic of the small 7.3 cooler. And lines. Beside a upgraded cooler From a Ford 6.0TD which is what most use to upgrade

7.3 cooler can run around 200-210deg
Above 220 your damaging. Above 230-40 and it’s trashed Trans

6.0 cooler guys are running as low as 125deg. Averaging 140-150

So you can imagine the difference einnhow long it would last

While I was in doing the Trans I also decided to do the UP PIPES cus it’s extremely easy while Trans is out. And wrapped them to keep heat away from transmission since they are about 1-2inches away from the bell housing

Got all new custom Gauges to monitor temps n boost because I’m not getting a programmer with monitor.
Getting the PHP HYDRA chip which is rated the best for the 7.3s

Also the EBPV delete kit n turbo pedestal Orings
Did the rear end pinion seal cus previous owner didn’t tighten the pinion bolt so it damaged the seal. Luckily not the bearing but a rear end overhaul is in the future

Anyways. Enough with long post. Here’s some pics of progress so far

Someone had cut the Smoh stuff out previously Which I’m fine with if you do it right.
Got rid of that garbage carb and electronic ignition system. Swapped in a Rebuilt Carb and our HEI distributor came 65k Coil really made a big difference.
Next week spark plugs hopefully yet

Gotta change Rotor and troubleshoot the Axle noise that recently started when climbing thru 2ft of snow up a hill. Lol. and started hopping real bad so I stopped. But ever since it’s had a running grinding type noise. Busy is completely random. But with a load on the bed. It is more noticeable down slight hills

Forgot to post but still in middle of this repair. This is in our 2001 f250 7.3 TurboDiesel Previous owner installed this Trans with 65k. Showed the paperwork. And a new Torque converter. Which turned out to all be true. U fortunately he did not flush. Or replace the Trans cooler. So it did damage inside the Trans. And went out on use kind of randomly We figured it would get us thru winter cus only slipped a little if heavy throttle
One big hill. And one slip is all it took to get hot and cook it These 4r100 can not handle over heating much at all
New upipes tonis tall and then the used Trans I got
Hope all goes well cus we need this vehicle to start more business work again
