Meet the OHC Team!

Terry Conrad, Jr. “TC” – Cheif Operating Officer / Foreman

TC plays a dual role at OHC, helping manage day-to-day operations while staying hands-on in the field—running equipment and keeping job sites running smoothly. His roots in the industry run deep, having started riding along with his dad at a young age. By age 10, he helped load his first dump truck, and his passion for the work only grew from there!

After earning his degree in Business Management, TC joined OHC full-time in 2019. Since then, he’s become a key leader, known for his skill in operating a wide range of machinery and delivering top-notch customer service.

When he’s not working, TC enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, and keeping up with all of his favorite sports.

OHC on the job site! Here’s a bioswale we installed at a homeowners house near Damascus, MD. Pictures showing the final product, installation of each layer (gravel -> sand -> planting media) and before we broke ground! Mulching and plants coming soon, to be done by our friends at Hometown Landscape!

Meet the team at OHC! Terry Conrad, Owner, Founder, of Oak Hill Construction, LLC! Terry bought his first backhoe 38 years ago in 1987 and officially opened up the doors at OHC! Since then he has lead his team in building many custom homes, installing/repairing hundreds of septic systems, excavating loads of dirt & so much more!

Terry is a natural leader to his employees and a compassionate home builder for his clients. He has been known as someone who will take care of you and take care of business! He’s the Boss Man, el Jefé, & Big Terry! Terry has dedicated lots of time, sweat, and money into growing his business and keeping it afloat among the ebbs and flows of our economy. His commitment to quality work is unparalleled.

When Terry isn’t working, he spends his free time doing the things he loves - hunting, fishing and babysitting his grandson. Join us in giving him a HUGE shout out and wishing him and OHC many more years of success!

Yesterday, Oak Hill Construction celebrated the conclusion of our most recent job at the C&O Towpath with a catered luncheon at Fort Frederick State Park!

We completed a total of a 23.3 mile extension of the towpath separated by 2 sections! The first section of 17.6 miles started at the Spring Gap Campground and ended at the Paw Paw Tunnel. The second section of 5.7 miles started at Licking Creek Aqueduct and ended at McCoys Ferry. Fort Frederick State Park is in the middle of the 5.7 mile section!

A HUGE thank you to our crew at OHC and the crew at BRE Paving who worked so hard to complete this project! If you have the chance to visit this beautiful & scenic path, don’t hesitate!
