Someone once told me, “You don’t give yourself enough credit for what you’ve built.”
I give everybody credit for the help, and I truly mean that. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized they were right.
I built this business from the ground up. I took the risks, put in the long hours, figured things out as I went, and kept showing up.
Today, I have an incredible team beside me. We continue building this business together, one job, one client, and one day at a time. I’m truly thankful for each one of them.
I know I didn’t get here alone.
• Credit is due to my future husband, who never lets me stay in my own head for too long and constantly reminds me of what I’m capable of.
• To my parents, who stepped in with the kids whenever I needed to finish a job, handle business, or simply keep going.
• To my friends, who have always had my back and have been there with a listening ear.
• And to my mentors, who continue to challenge me, guide me, and remind me that growth comes from pushing through the hard days.
Every one of those people has played a part in this journey, and I’ll never forget that.
But I’ve also realized something… 🔥
Giving credit to everyone who helped me doesn’t mean I have to leave myself out of the story.
It’s okay to look in the mirror and be proud of the woman staring back.
• To be proud of the risks I took.
• To be proud of facing fear head-on.
• To be proud that I kept going when quitting would’ve been easier. WAY. easier.
I built this.
Not by myself, but because I refused to give up.
And for the first time in a long time, I can honestly say…
I’m proud of myself. ❤️
I realize I’ve been capable of accomplishing far more than I ever imagined. And you can too.
