My name is Suzanne Budd, and I am a licensed childcare provider who has been operating since 2015. I grew up with my mother running a daycare out of our home, so I am familiar with the fun and rewarding life! I babysat for many of those families when I was old enough, and I still have relationships with them today! In 2003 we had our daughter Brooke and in 2007, our son Aidan! We also have four pe
ts: our dog Freya is a German Shepherd; our cats are: Ronin, a Siamese/Bombay mix; Harlow, a Russian Blue, and Willow, a Calico. They are delightful and great with children of all ages. In addition, my family is amazing, very excited, and supportive of my daycare business. Being a part of my children's lives while in school was important to me, so I became a Lunch Supervisor (lunch mom) at my children's school, got involved with the school's literacy program, and volunteered for many other events. I was a Senior Leader, Den Leader, Chartered Organization Representative, and the highest trained and senior member for the school's Cub Scout Pack for five years. I am a member of the Association for Child Development and the National Association for Family Child Care. I was also a teacher at a private Christian Preschool and Sunday School. In August 2021, I started school at Macomb Community College for my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies. As you can see, I love working with children! I am a provider for the federal food program. While your child is in my care, they will be provided nutritious meals and snacks. I am also a member of the National Association for Family Childcare and the Association for Child Development. This is a non-smoking home. I regularly clean my home and disinfect toys and hard surfaces with CDC-recommended cleaning practices. We don't use any fertilizers, weed killers, or other chemicals in our yard.
