Ok my friends, I NEVER do this and am almost embarrassed about it, but I am asking for your vote for Terry Crews as best host of a show for the People's Choice Awards. I am invested in him NOT as a celebrity but because of his incredible work around domestic violence and his sharing of painful things associated with growing up watching his mother being beaten and having no place to go. He admits to wetting the bed at 14 years old from the trauma he endured. He and his wife of over 30 years have stuck together through the days of having nothing, infidelity and he's worked so hard to heal from the trauma of his childhood. He's one of the only men in Hollywood to talk about feeling violated by another man in the era of the Me Too movement.
I really love his heart, his charity work and his family. I want him to continue to have success because this is a man who does good work. If winning best host helps him keep doing the work, then I am all for it.
