Welcome friends!
Birch Bright Cleaning Co. has taken off and I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nicole and I was born and raised in Minnesota. When I was 26, I moved to Florida and a Craigslist ad is what brought me to Alaska in 2013. I spent my first two summers in Talkeetna and it was there that I learned what seasonal work was. I started spending winters in Park City, UT and summers in Alaska.
Eventually, I wanted to live closer to the mountains and that’s what brought me to Seward in 2015. I continued my travels back and forth to Utah as well as a winter in Girdwood, summer in Juneau and two years on Maui. In 2021, after moving eighteen times and ten years of seasonal work, I decided to set roots in Seward.
I’ve worked mostly in the Food and Beverage industry as well as zip line guiding, rappelling down waterfalls and running dogs on a glacier. I started housekeeping at the Roadhouse in Talkeetna in 2013 and continued to clean as a side hustle. After falling in love, getting pregnant and giving birth to my beautiful baby boy in 2024, I wanted to build a business centered around the ability to be home at night with my family. 
I spend my free time enjoying all the Alaskan things: fishing, hiking, camping and skiing. I love to travel, play sports, Crossfit, make sourdough and pretty much any activity that is spent with family. My goal is to provide year-round cleaning services for the Seward community as well as organize homes and property manage.
