Processed honey vs Raw honey.

Pro and cons

Can I get raw honey from supermarket🛒 🤔.

No you cannot. 😕

Why? 😢.

Because all honey in shelves of supermarket is processed or passed through warmer to increase shelf life, just like many products found in supermarket. 🎁🎁🎁

So where then can I get raw honey🍯

Either direct from the farmers/Beekeepers or from reliable honey dealers. 🕵️‍♂️🕵️‍♀️👩‍🔬

We are happy to announce that we will be in the Education Tent at the Bethlehem Food Co-Op's, 6th Annual Earth Day Festival, for the 2nd year in a row. Come see us and learn about beekeeping!

We absolutely adore this family event. Great food, fantastic local art vendors and an awesome community of earth warriors!

🐝Got stung by a hornet yesterday! Your honey worked!!!!! It’s a little itchy today but the pain went away right away - almost no swelling. Amazing! It was seriously like magic!🐝

Our first successful swarm capture via swarm trap. Didn't do anything other than place a box with old comb in it, and a queen pheremone, and one of my colonies (i highly suspect) moved in here completely on their own. There are only 3 colonies i specifically left in position to swarm that could have cast this swarm, which was done with the purpose of having swarm cells to give to our remaining mating nucs that haven't produced a queen. I was planning on catching this before they reached this point by doing an artificial swarm (known as splitting) once i saw swarm prep. But they beat me to it and, fortunately, decided to go to one of our boxes anyway. I'm confident, based off difference in bee bearding from yesterday, which one cast it and will put those extra swarm cells from that colony into the remaining mating nucs we have that have yet to produce a queen.
