Couldn't have said it better!

Things cleaners wish people knew 👇👇👇

1️⃣ We’re not judging your messy house. If anything, we’re excited about it. A perfectly clean house is boring 🥴

2️⃣ You don’t have to apologize for the mess. Seriously. If your house was already spotless… you wouldn’t need us.

3️⃣ We’ve seen WAY worse. Trust me. Whatever you’re embarrassed about probably wouldn’t even make our top 50.

4️⃣ Cleaning is weirdly satisfying for us. Watching a dirty space turn spotless is basically our version of therapy.

5️⃣ We actually love helping people feel better in their own homes. A clean space can change your whole mood.

So if you’ve ever felt embarrassed having a cleaner come over… don’t be 🥰

👉 Be honest… what’s the ONE thing you’d be embarrassed for a cleaner to see?

From tips to little gifts to a simple thank you, I appreciate all of my clients! Nothing makes me happier than knowing I did a good job and was able to help 🙌🏼

A question I get a lot as a solo cleaner:
“Should you tip your house cleaner?”

The honest answer is tips are never expected, but they’re always appreciated.

If someone does choose to tip their cleaner, many people follow something similar to service industries usually around 10–20% of the cleaning price or sometimes $20–$50, depending on the size of the job.

Personally, most of my tips come from my regular clients during the holidays, or sometimes if I go above and beyond on something extra. I also tend to get tips on deep cleans and move-out cleans, because those are my specialty and clients are usually really happy with the results.

But truly, a kind text or message saying you loved the clean means just as much to me.

Cleaners and homeowners what’s your take?
Do you tip your cleaner, or show appreciation in another way?

👇 I’d love to hear what everyone does.

Part 2 of a move in deep clean. The focus was on getting the cupboards cleaned out and doors/walls wiped down. Mission accomplished 🫧🫧🫧
