Let’s talk about twisted straps. It seems small, right? When it comes to your child’s car seat, that small detail matters in a big way.
When harness straps are twisted or folded, they can’t lay flat against your child’s body the way they’re designed to. That means they can’t properly distribute force in a crash. Even one small twist can reduce how safely the seat protects your child.
We see straps folded and buckles flipped the wrong way all the time during cleans. It happens easily with everyday use… it’s an easy fix and part of every single clean we do. Each strap and buckle gets checked, straightened, and reset so it’s exactly how the manufacturer intended.
I’m thinking about doing a post soon showing a simple way to fix twisted straps quickly at home before you buckle your kids in. Comment below and let me know if you’d want to see it! 👇
