LEVELING UP: One bag at a time 🍃🌿

Another week in the books and I'm STILL working my way around this HUGE property! Check out a sneak peek of a portion completed 👀

This week, I learned to work SMARTER, not HARDER. Insert our refurbished lawn cart. Let me tell you, with a count of 160+ YARD BAGS so far, my body is grateful for the new set of wheels.

With Toad where God has called him to be, I find myself missing working alongside my husband, but God sent me a fun little reminder this week that I'm never alone: a REAL TOAD 🐸

And yesterday, I brought my #1 DOOD, Ranger, to supervise and as a bonus, I had 2 of a dear friend's children along side me for part of the day 💙❤️🐾

These solo days have been fueled by listening to sermons, worship music and this week the Holy Spirit lead me to by Phillip Anthony Mitchell on Audible... WOW!! If you know me, you also know reading is not my thing.... I consumed this book in less than 2 days 😭🙏🙌🖤

🐸🍄💪 FRIDAY FLEX: Kris vs. The Jungle

Monday and Tuesday's debris was picked up, so this is alllll new!

Wednesday. Thursday. Friday

Three more days of sweating, dirt, determination and a WHOLE LOT of debris!

And who's been tackling it?!

ONE WOMAN, TWO HANDS AND ZERO QUIT!

Every single bit of came from clearing, trimming, digging and bringing this property back to life!

Not gonna lie, there were a few moments when my face looked more like the 1st pic than my face in the other one 🤪

Hard work isn't always glamorous, but it's honest work and I'm proud of it.

New week, New property- Same Level Up Energy

Kris is flying solo again and apparently the wildlife had come to keep me company 🐢🧡

The last 2 days have been FULL of yard work, Overgrown landscaping, trimming, cleaning and hauling SO much yard debris- seriously these bags multiply like rabbits 🐇

It's so satifying watching this property come back to life AND I even made a new friend today! He wasn't the fastest coworker I've ever had, but he was super cute 😍

LEVELING UP THE NEXT GENERATION 🐸🍄💙

Had some extra help on the job today from my "Not-So-Littlest!" 💪🤣

Let me tell you, there is something extra special about working alongside your own kiddo... and this kid knocked it out of the park!!!

We turned this Airbnb over, but the real work goes beyond cleaning and laundry. Its about showing up and taking pride in what you do; learning that no job is beneath you and that doing something well matters, even if no one is watching.

The best part, he chose to spend his day off with his Mama 💙 We had awesome conversations and made some memories along the way.

At Toad's Level Up, "Family-Operated" isn't just something we put on our logo, its something we live.

Look what Kris uncovered today 👀

This property didn't need something NEW, it just needed someone willing to put in the work to uncover what was already there.

Underneath all those pavers, rock and deteriorating landscape fabric was a perfectly good walkway waiting for its comeback.

A lot of pulling, shoveling, hauling, cleaning and a whole lot of elbow grease later...

Sometimes "Property Solutions" means spending your Sunday afternoon at the laundromat.... (Didn't see this one coming! 🤣)

The heating element went out on the dryer at one of the properties we serve. But when someone trusts us to get the job done, we do whatever it takes to get the job done. So off to the laundromat I went!

While I was there, I met a man and we got to talking (Me...talking to a stranger? Shocking, right? 😅) He shared that he had recently went through a breakup and was in a season of healing.

Something in me said, "Ask him...."

So I asked my new friend if he knew Jesus.

His already beautiful eyes LIT UP at the sound of His name. 🙌

There I was, at a laundromat, with loads of someone else's linens getting clean, and I was reminded all over again why Toad and I believe this little business is so much more than cleaning houses, fixing things, or maintaining properties.

This is where God has us. These are the people God puts in our path.

And in a lot of ways, this IS our ministry. To serve people well, love them well, and when the opportunity presents itself, share the love of Jesus along the way ✝️❤️

Today, the job was laundry, but maybe the assignment was something else entirely. 🙏

When Toad asks, "Just how much did you remove from that property?" 👀

In case the before and after pics didn't quite give the whole scope.

THIS is how much! 💪

I think I should meet the garbage men with donuts on pickup day to smooth things over with them 🍩🤣

I kept rolling solo on this property to finish out the week and she is really starting to shine!

River Rock removed and repurposed ✔️
Overgrown vines cut back from the fence a d pole ✔️
Beds cleaned out ✔️
One giant bush planted ✔️
And approximately 47 million bags of yard debris removed ✔️

It's soooo satifying uncovering what was already there and giving a property room to breathe again. 🌿🌱

There's more work to do. Stay tuned!

TOAD left me UNSUPERVISED again 😅💪🐸

Solo mission today and your girl was MAKING MOVES!

A whole lotta trimming, cutting, hauling, raking, bagging and general backyard Leveling Up. (I may have brought approximately half the yard home... on my face! 🤣)

But man, what a day!

Worship Music playing 🎶
Vitamin D pouring in 🌞
A little salty air 🌴
Hands dirty.
Heart full ❤️

Its so satisfying to stand back, absolutely filthy, and see what your own 2 Hands accomplished.

And that debris pile 👀
Kris: 1. Yard: 0. 💪🤪

No two days look the same for us and we love it... sometimes we're painting, sometimes cleaning, other times moving someone or fixing something...

And apparently sometimes I am waging war against an entire backyard by myself!

Whatever the property needs!

LEVELING UP means reaching ALL the things 🐸🧼🧼.

It's no secret that Kris isn't exactly vertically gifted 🤣

But when doing a move-out clean, "I can't see it from here," doesn't mean it's clean.

Today's kitchen had been very well loved; including some love hiding WAY up on top of the cabinets. So, up we went!

Because the tops of cabinets, refrigerators, door frames, and all those other forgotten places deserve attention too. If it collects dust, grease or grime... we are coming for it.

Let's appreciate this before and after! ✨️🙌

This home held a lot life, meals and memories. Now Leveled Up, its ready for a new family and a new chapter ❤️
