We don’t live in our homes the same way in February as we do in June.
Winter is about getting through.
Spring is about opening up.
This in-between season is when you start noticing what isn’t working anymore.
The piles.
The overflow.
The spaces that feel tight.
Not because you failed.
Because the season is shifting.
You don’t need a full overhaul.
You need a reset that matches how you’re about to live.
We keep things because they represent effort, hope, memory, or identity.
Sometimes what we’re holding onto isn’t the object, it’s the version of us who bought it. The plan we thought would unfold differently. The season that lasted longer than expected.
Releasing those things can feel like admitting something ended. But space isn’t created by force. It’s created by allowing the past to be complete.
We don’t declutter because we failed.
We declutter because we’re becoming.
My April schedule is open for transitional organizing sessions. Let’s prepare your home for the way you want to feel this spring.
