9 questions you should ask when hiring your Airbnb cleaner in Sarasota

Most hosts sign with the first cleaner (usually the less expensive) that seems professional enough and never ask the questions that actually matter.
Here are 3 to start with:

1. "What happens if you get sick the morning of a check-in?"
If the answer is vague, the backup doesn't exist. And in Sarasota, where every cleaner is booked solid on Saturday mornings, that's your problem, not theirs.

2. "Can I see a sample photo report?"
Not 1 or 2 random marketing photos. After every turnover, you should receive documented proof that every room was cleaned, every consumable restocked, every detail in place. If they only send photos when something goes wrong, you have no visibility and no defense when a guest complains.

3. "How do I know the clean actually happened?"
Real communication means a confirmation when the cleaner arrives, a notification when they leave, and an immediate flag if anything is off, without you having to ask.

Most cleaners in this market will struggle with at least two of these questions.
