With just around the corner, we thought you might like to know how to get rid of those very scary . When you see a chocolate stain on your carpet, your first instinct might be to grab a wet cloth and try to wipe it away, but this will just spread it around. Instead, wait until the chocolate dries. Once it hardens, you should be able to scrape most of the dry chocolate with a butter knife and vacuum up any remaining flakes with a hand vacuum. If you still have a chocolate stain, cover it with a clean paper towel and use an iron on the LOWEST heat setting to go over the paper towel covering the stain. The remaining chocolate should adhere to paper towel. You may have to repeat this part several times with clean paper towels to achieve the desired results.
