This new customer called with an extremely high water bill and the problem was traced back to the building’s containment Backflow preventer leaking due to defective parts and internal debris. Gave them options for repair vs replacement and they opted for a new one, with required concrete pad and code approved insulated enclosure.

Toilet Won’t Stop Running?

It is important to know how your drains are working. This customer had multiple backups causing disruption to their business and after jetting this line to clear the blockage, we used our video inspection camera to find and locate a broken sewer tap connection. We called in emergency locate services, and with the help of some friends, we cut and removed the asphalt from the parking lot. Dug down to the problem got it repaired, back filled and ready for asphalt all before normal business hours resumed the following morning. We were even able to get the parking lot patched within a few days.

🥶Freeze Warning – Protect Your Pipes❄️

Bitterly cold temperatures are moving into central NC and frozen pipes can burst quickly and cause costly water damage.

Here are a few simple ways to protect your plumbing:
-Let hot and cold faucets drip slightly, especially on exterior walls.
-Open cabinet doors to allow warm air to circulate around pipes.
-Disconnect hoses and cover outdoor faucets.
-Keep your thermostat set consistently overnight.
-Know where your main water shutoff valve is located.

If a pipe freezes or bursts, shut off your main water immediately and call a licensed plumber.
