Our Young Engineers Turned Their Ideas into Reality!
We recently completed two sessions of the LNL 3D Future Engineering Camp, where students ages 8–14 explored the exciting world of 3D printing, CAD, and engineering design.
During the camp, students learned:
✓ 3D printing fundamentals
✓ 3D printer operation
✓ Basic CAD and 3D design
✓ Model preparation and printing
✓ Measuring, support removal, and finishing
✓ Creative thinking and problem-solving
Several students joined the camp with little or no previous experience in 3D printing or design. By the end of the program, they were able to select their own projects, prepare their designs, operate the printers, and proudly present their finished creations.
Every student chose a project based on their own interests. These were not identical models assigned by the instructor. Each completed project reflected the student’s creativity, decisions, and effort.
We are very proud of our five young engineers and everything they accomplished!
New Camp Sessions Added!
Due to the enthusiastic response to our Future Engineering Camp, we are opening two additional camp sessions:
August 6–10, 2026
August 20–24, 2026
Each camp includes hands-on instruction in 3D printing, printer operation, basic CAD, and 3D design. Students will have the opportunity to choose and complete their own personalized projects.
Space is limited. Families interested in joining are encouraged to contact us or register early.
