Cleaning your gutters:
1.) Prevents water damage: gutters are designed to direct rain water away from your homes foundation. When clogged this can lead to flooding, water seepage into walls, and damage to your foundation
2.) Prevents roof damage: clogged gutters back water up onto your roof. Excess water can seep into roof shingles causing them to rot, leading to expensive repairs.
3.) Minimizes pest infestations: clogged gutters create a favorable environment for pests like mosquitos, birds, squirrels and insects to nest and breed. The standing water attracts these pests and increases the chance of an infestation.
