🚨 Tiny Ants. Big Problem. 🚨

Have you heard of the Asian Needle Ant? These invasive ants are becoming more common across parts of the South — including areas of Texas — and they’re not your typical nuisance ant.

Asian Needle Ants:
• Can deliver a painful sting
• Have been known to trigger severe allergic reactions in some people
• Often hide in mulch, leaf litter, firewood, pavers, and shaded areas
• Can invade homes and businesses searching for food and moisture
• May push out native ants that actually help the environment

One of the biggest challenges? Many people mistake them for regular ants because they are small, dark brown to black, and move slowly compared to fire ants.

Signs to watch for:
✔️ Ant activity around mulch beds
✔️ Ants under rocks, logs, or flower pots
✔️ Stings that burn or swell more than expected
✔️ Increased activity after rain and humid weather

At Worldwide Pest Control, we believe education is key to protecting your home, family, pets, and property. If you notice unusual ant activity, don’t wait until it becomes a bigger issue. Early identification and treatment make a huge difference.

🌧️ After the rain + a mild winter… expect more ticks.

Warmer temps mean more ticks survived the season—and recent rain is creating the perfect conditions for them to thrive.

What this means:
• Tick activity is increasing early
• Damp, shaded areas = high-risk zones
• Pets (and people) are more exposed
• Higher risk of bites and disease

Stay ahead of it:
✔️ Keep your yard maintained
✔️ Check pets after being outside
✔️ Avoid tall grass when possible

At Worldwide Pest Control Inc., we help you stay protected before it becomes a problem.

🚨 Texas Alert: New World Screwworm Threat is REAL 🚨

At Worldwide Pest Control Inc., staying informed and protecting our communities is what we do—and this is something every Texan, especially our ranchers and livestock owners, needs to take seriously.

Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller issued a strong warning following confirmation of the northern-most New World screwworm detection in Nuevo León, Mexico—just 90 miles from the U.S. border.

This is not a “wait and see” situation.
This is urgent. This is close. This is a threat to Texas.

🐄 Why this matters:
The New World screwworm is a destructive parasite that attacks living tissue in animals, causing severe damage and even death if not treated quickly. It can devastate:
• Livestock operations
• Wildlife populations
• Our food supply chain

⚠️ What you need to do NOW:
• Inspect animals regularly for unusual wounds or infestations
• Watch for signs like irritation, foul odor, or visible larvae
• Report anything suspicious immediately

Early detection can mean the difference between containment and widespread outbreak.

🤝 We’re in this together:
Texas has successfully eradicated screwworm before—and we can do it again. But it takes awareness, quick action, and community effort.

At Worldwide Pest Control, we are committed to:
✔️ Keeping our community educated
✔️ Monitoring emerging pest threats
✔️ Supporting both residential and agricultural needs

If you have questions or want to better protect your property, animals, or business—reach out. We’re here to help.

🕷️ Tarantula Mating Season Has Begun in Texas! 🕷️
Brought to you by Worldwide Pest Control Inc.

It’s that time of year again! As summer winds down and temperatures shift, tarantula mating season kicks off here in Texas — typically running from August through October.

You might start noticing large, hairy tarantulas wandering across roads, yards, and open spaces. Don’t panic — they’re not invading, they’re looking for love! 💘

🐾 Did you know?
Male tarantulas leave their burrows in search of a mate, often traveling long distances. While they’re generally harmless to humans, their sudden appearance can definitely catch you off guard!

👉 If you spot one too close to home — or if you’re seeing more spider activity than usual — Worldwide Pest Control is here to help. Our team is trained to handle all kinds of critters, big and small, with safe and effective solutions.

📞 Call us today or visit our website to schedule an inspection.
Let us keep your home pest-free — even during tarantula season!
