Cold Weather Preparation is this week’s topic.
Today we used one of our trusty NOCO on a car that had slow crank and couldn’t fire up.

These NOCO Battery jump starters are game changers! From small engines, to large diesels, they get it done!
Everyone should have one in their garage.

Cold weather significantly hurts vehicle batteries because it slows down the chemical reactions within the battery. This results in reduced power output, making it harder to start your car. More so if the battery is already old or partially discharged.
Essentially, the colder it gets, the less power your battery can deliver to crank the engine.

Is that TPMS sensor light on your dash?
Here’s some info on why yours might be on with this super cold weather!

Low tire pressure in cold weather occurs because cold temperatures cause the air inside your tires to contract and become denser, taking up less space and resulting in a drop in tire pressure.
Essentially, for every 10 degrees Fahrenheit the temperature drops, your tire pressure can decrease by roughly 1 pound per square inch (PSI).

All services will get a complimentary tire pressure check and fill!!!
