On Dr. King’s birthday, in a time when some are bold enough to say he was a myth, that civil rights were a mistake, that we were better off in the 1940s—we pause and tell the truth.
Martin Luther King Jr. was never a myth.
He was a mirror.
A mirror that reflected what America could be if it chose justice over comfort, love over fear, dignity over domination.
The pushback we’re witnessing right now isn’t new. It’s proof.
Proof that his work was disruptive.
Proof that progress always threatens systems built on imbalance.
Proof that when healing begins, resistance gets loud.
Dr. King didn’t just fight for seats at lunch counters or laws on paper—
He fought for wholeness.
And that’s where this moment meets Home & Health Wellness.
Because wellness is not just yoga mats and green drinks.
Wellness is the right to rest without guilt.
To breathe without fear.
To build homes that are safe, clean, nourishing, and peaceful.
To care for our bodies, our families, and our communities without apology.
A healthy home is an act of resistance.
A regulated nervous system is an act of freedom.
Choosing longevity, clarity, and care in a world that profits from our exhaustion is revolutionary.
Dr. King dreamed of the Beloved Community.
We are living it—room by room, body by body, choice by choice.
So no, we are not going backward.
We are remembering who we are!! 🗣️🗣️💪🏽💪🏽✊🏾✊🏾
